Submitting your news, please take care to be accurate: this will help
website' users to find and read the news. Keep in mind that the former
three options (Select ...)
are pivotal to targeting the potential audience' borders.
Please, read the notes related to any field before submitting. Five
fields, highlighted in dark purple, are strictly required.
Remember that, maybe, the news you are submitting should be already
present in our database, perhaps submitted by someone other. The
better thing, to getting around a waste of time, is to pre-emptively
verify the case. Type some keywords (whithdrawed from title)
and click the Verify
button, to check if the news is present or not; if control find some
similarity in the database, the first 400 characters of recorded(s)
news will be showed, so you can check if is the same of yours
or not, before proceed. If you don't make the check, this will be
done automatically, using the Title
field, and if the control find some similarity your news don't
will be recorded in database. So, since a human check is always
better than a coded check, please make a verify.
Appealing feature: if you have one, you can upload an image
too. This can be really good if you are publishing a news about an
exhibit or a screening, and can add a plus of appeal to your notice.
You don't need any special aptitude to do it, because our system provide
itself to resize the image at right scale. Keep in mind that the image
will be showed in landscape format, so don't upload an image in portrait
format: it will be slashed! We suggest you to do a good choice between
your images, before upload: you can do it just with one image
for news. Coloured images are better than black & white, close
shoot are better than distant, well contrasted is better than out-of-focus...
Note:
- One must important thing: this website is orientated to a wide audience,
therefore submit your news just utilizing english language.
Others, albeit can reach many peoples, haven't the same catchment
area's wideness.
- Please, don't submit text with cut & paste from Word
or similar! This apps format the text and use some special characters,
that can be result unknowable by system, and therefore your news should
be showed in wrong mode. Submit plain text (use NotePad
- Win or SimpleText - Mac).
